Curious about how to fund public engagement with your research at Manchester Met? 

Join us for an online session introducing Manchester Metropolitan University’s ENGAGE Fund - our internal funding scheme supporting creative and high-quality public engagement with research. 

Whether you’re new to public engagement or looking to develop existing activity, this session will help you understand how the ENGAGE Fund can support your work.

This session covers:

  • What the ENGAGE Fund is and what it aims to support. 

  • The range of funding available. 

  • The types of activities that are eligible for funding. 

  • How the application process works, from Expression of Interest to decision. 

  • How applications are reviewed and assessed.

  • Key dates and deadlines.

  • Funding guidelines, including eligible and ineligible costs. 

  • Plenty of time for your questions! 
     

Who this session is for: 

  • Manchester Met staff and doctoral students 

  • Researchers at any career stage 

  • Staff with early ideas, developed projects, or simply hoping to find out more. 

This presentation will be 30 minutes, followed by an opportunity for questions and answers.
