We’re pleased to invite you to a series of upcoming workshops designed by Vocal, a specialist Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) organisation that brings people and health research together, in partnership with Manchester Met, to develop your skills and confidence in PPIE and community partnership working. 

Who should attend? 

Researchers across all faculties and research support staff who are looking to strengthen inclusive, collaborative, and high-quality PPIE practices.  

These sessions are suitable for researchers at all career stages and for anyone who works with patients, members of the public and/or community organisations. 


Workshop 3: Evaluating PPIE

Learn how to evidence the impact of inclusive research and PPIE. 

By the end of this session, you will: 

  • Understand why evaluating PPIE adds value to projects and partnerships. 

  • Listen to examples of evaluation approaches from researchers, public contributors, and Vocal. 

  • Access frameworks and guidance to support evaluation of PPIE.
