Join this online introductory session to discover what public engagement is, why it’s important and how you can make it a part of your work.
In the session, we will:

Define public engagement and explore its core principles

Examine different approaches to engagement and when each might be most effective

Move beyond the ‘general public’

Highlight the benefits of doing public engagement for you, your research, Manchester Met, and the public

Showcase the support available at Manchester Met to help you success in your public engagement work
This session is aimed at you if you are a Manchester Met staff member or student and you are:

Taking your first steps into public engagement

Looking to solidify your understanding of public engagement ethos and practice

Interested in Manchester Met’s approach to public engagement
